Left behind from the machine knitting class, I found two scraps of beautiful yarn on a classroom floor while earning my fashion design degree. I picked them up and immediately decided I had to take that class and learn how to knit! From the first day of class, I was hooked. A few months later I taught myself to hand knit and fell even deeper in love with the craft. I've been designing my own knits from the start, finding inspiration everywhere: fashion, art, nature, architecture, history, geometry, texture, color, the list goes on and on. The process of building a garment stitch by stitch truly fascinates me!

For years I have wanted to share my designs with other knitters, and I am excited to be making my dream a reality. My goal is to create beautiful, easy to follow patterns that make your knitting experience as enjoyable and stress free as possible. A lot of time and thought goes into each of my designs and their patterns. While knitting samples I take detailed notes, including any issues I have so that I can provide trouble-shooting tips to help future knitters complete the project. I'm excited to share my ideas and love of knitting with you!
